John, Paul, Sid, and Ringo met Baron von Wasteland at Lollapaloser, where Echo & the Bunnymen, Devo, Nirvana, Killing Joke, Pixies, ABBA, Van Halen, My Bloody Valentine, and Butthole Surfers galvanized them into forming The Beatoffs. When Baron's paramour (yodeling radical Yucko Nono) entered the party, tempers exploded; The Beatoffs imploded; and DISTANT NEIGHBOR was born on their grave.
